In Elizabeth's words:
I love AHG because...
I get to hang out with my friends and work on things that are fun. It reminds me of quilting. Some quilts are made by several people. Girls get together with scraps and start sewing little designs on squares. While they work they talk and discuss. They're not only working on something they like, they're enjoying each other's company by talking.
Howdy! My name is Elizabeth Jean. Elizabeth was the name my parents finally settled on. It had to sound good with Jean and they both had to agree on one. Jean was my grandma's name. One interesting thing about me is that I'm distantly related to the Hatfields. You probably don't know the story so I'll retell it. A long time ago, two families, the Hatfields and the McCoys, were in a feud. When one of them found Christ, he stopped the feud and restored peace. You can watch skits about the families. Also, the two families lived in two states: Kentucky and West Virginia, where some of my relatives still live today!
